The first time I heard of Christian, the Lion and the wonderful people who raised him, Anthony Bourke and John Rendall was on New Years Eve. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of Christian and I will never forget him or kindness of Mr. Bourke and John Rendall. I can’t hold back the tears either. What I can’t understand is why the zoo put Christian in the department store to be sold. That was very inappropriate to begin with.
